Electric Wire Hustle Family

The Electric Wire Hustle Family show is a special performance that is unique to this band and brings together 3 different cultures, 2 generations of musicians and parent and child on stage.

EWH's vocalist and guitars, Mara TK is son of NZ blues guitarist legend Billy TK who has been touted as the Māori Jimi Hendrix and is one of the most respected and technically proficient guitarists in New Zealand today. Drummer Myele Manzanza is son of Congolese master percussionist Sam Manzanza who was one of the first African musicians to tour African music in New Zealand and keyboardist Taay Ninh's mother is traditional Vietnamese vocalist Le Nuong.
