Sly Johnson, one fifth of the last line-up of France's highly respected Hip Hop combo Saïan Supa Crew, is finally gearing up for the release of his solo debut, "74", coming soon on Universal Music France. The singer and beat boxing master (formerly known as "Sly The Mic Buddah" because of his skills) has worked with the likes of Jay Newland (record engineer and producer for Norah Jones and Ayo) and Larry Gold, one of the most sought after arranger in today's Pop music (who's crafted classic hits such as The Roots' "You Got Me", Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" and Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" among many others).
