After dealing with label issues throughout the 2000s, Philly artist Hezekiah went in to create Conscious Porn, his third album, with the intent of making wild, off-the-wall music. That's not to say his previous record, 2007's I Predict A Riot, was predictable, as it was steeped in a swirling combination of hip-hop, rock, soul, and jazz. But Conscious Porn finds this producer-rapper at a point where he doesn't give a fuck, apparently. He insists it's still a quality album, though. And it boasts guest production from Nottz and Oddisee along with features from Pharoahe Monch, Raheem Devaughn, Cody Chesnutt, Talib Kweli, and others.
