New York's Arthur's Landing is far from a cover project. Made up of a collective of many of the late Arthur Russell's closest friends and collaborators, the group uses their experiences working with Arthur as a jumping off point to create new material out of song fragments, performance exercises, and some of the material on which they worked together with much loved artist. On "Love Dancing," the Loose Joints classic "Is It All Over My Face" becomes a sparse meditation on the feelings, akin to a crush, that music can inspire. The track features vocals from Arthur Russell's good friend Joyce Bowden, as well as Hercules And Love Affair's Nomi.
