La Melodia -also known as MC Melodee and producer & DJ I.N.T.- brings you soulful hiphop with a hint of electric funk, and raw yet hypnotic beats from Dutch grounds. After successfully releasing their album ‘Vibing High’ in Japan through Handcuts/Universal and in the Netherlands through PIAS, they have been touring all over the globe.
The past year La Melodia has been working on new tracks while teaming up with Nalden (Nalden.net / WeTransfer). Together they decided in this ever changing music business, to stop releasing full length albums (ft. 10+ tracks). Instead they planned to frequently release "mini" albums to establish a more constant exposure.
The result is Electronic Love, which presents 7 tracks with Melodee kicking rhymes, and INT on the beats. It features a guest production by Philly’s upcoming producer/singer $uzi Analogue (Friend For Life) and a special bonus track. Introducing the groups'definition of sexy hiphop, the record presents itself with a continuance of synthetic electronic feel and lyrics that cover different topics of love.
